Project Overview
This living space was designed to feel bright, welcoming, and full of character — a room where modern simplicity meets warm, expressive accents. My intention was to create a space that feels alive without ever feeling busy, using color, texture, and light to guide the atmosphere.
The heart of the room is the soft, neutral sectional that stretches across the space, grounding everything with comfort and calmness. I chose rich teal and warm terracotta for the cushions and accent chairs, giving the room a playful yet sophisticated balance. These colors bring energy without overwhelming the eye, especially against the clean architectural lines.
Natural light plays a major role here. The full-height windows are dressed in sheer curtains that soften the daylight and create a gentle movement throughout the day. The greenery adds an organic touch, making the exterior landscape feel like part of the interior.
On one side, the deep green TV wall anchors the living room with a dramatic, modern tone, complemented by a low white console that keeps the composition light and airy. On the opposite side, warm wood elements and a bold red art piece introduce depth, warmth, and a subtle cultural flair.
The center table layout brings together wood, candles, books, and ceramics — a casual but curated arrangement that makes the space feel lived-in and personal. Lighting is kept minimal and linear, highlighting the architecture without drawing attention to itself, while a soft round pendant adds contrast and character.
Overall, this project is about comfort with personality — a modern living area shaped through color harmony, natural materials, and calm, inviting energy.
